Here Comes The Sun was written by George Harrison for the Beatles Abbey Road album. Harrison wrote the song in 1969 at Eric Clapton's house after an unusually cold winter in London. The Beatles never released Here Comes The Sun as a single which prevented it from eligibility on popular music charts. Here Comes The Sun is one of the few Beatles songs in which John Lennon was not involved. In this case it was because he was recovering from an automobile accident.
