Folsom Prison Blues was written by Johnny Cash after watching the 1951 movie Inside the Walls of Folsom Prison while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force in West Germany. Cash released the song in 1955 and actually performed the song at Folsom Prison in 1968. Folsom Prison Blues was one of Cash's signature songs and was one he performed for decades. The song hit #1 on the charts in both the United States and Canada.
The Folsom Prison Blues Epic Frequency is available as a gallery wrapped canvas or glossy print that would even look great in a jail cell...though we don't recommend trying it.
This print, as with all Epic Frequencies, includes a QR code so you can hear the song. Just scan the QR code with your smartphone or tablet and a digital version of the print will appear with audio so you can both see and hear Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash.
